Visiting the Vrata Valley will now be even easier and more worry-free. To ensure greater comfort and better organization of transportation, a bus seat pre-booking system has been introduced, allowing visitors to reserve their seats before arrival.
Seat reservations can be made for boarding at two designated points:
- parking "na Prodih",
- Aljaž's Hut in Vrata Valley.
For each departure, up to half of all available seats can be reserved in advance, while the remaining seats are available to passengers without prior reservations. This arrangement provides greater flexibility while ensuring that transport remains accessible to spontaneous visitors as well.
The reservation fee is EUR 3 per seat. The paid reservation system has been introduced to ensure that reserved seats are actually used and are not left vacant due to passengers failing to show up. This helps ensure more efficient transport organization and a better experience for all visitors to the Vrata Valley.
Visitors who reserve their seat in advance are kindly asked to arrive at the selected bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time. Upon arrival, they should join the front of the queue to ensure faster boarding.
The reservation system is part of efforts to ensure sustainable traffic management in the Vrata Valley and encourages the use of organized public transport, which significantly contributes to reducing traffic pressures and preserving the exceptional natural environment of Triglav National Park.
