WELCOME TO THE MOUNTAIN PARADISE BENEATH TRIGLAV
In the heart of the Julian Alps, where majestic cliffs rise toward the sky, the Alpine Club Dovje – Mojstrana has been preserving a rich alpine tradition for over 90 years. We manage three mountain lodges – Aljaž Hut, Šlajmer Hut, and Gustl Hut – and emergency shelters that provide refuge to hikers and mountaineers whenever needed. At Aljaž Hut visitors are also welcomed by a warm and hospitable restaurant, where they can enjoy traditional Slovenian dishes and the unique culinary delights typical of mountain huts.
In addition to maintaining huts and trails, we are deeply committed to developing alpinism, sport climbing, and mountain guiding. The Vrata Valley – home to all our huts – serves as a gateway to countless alpine adventures. From here, you can begin ascents toward Triglav, Škrlatica, Stenar, Kriške Podi, and other majestic peaks, where unforgettable high-alpine experiences await — from thrilling climbs to moments of serene natural beauty. THE SEASON HAS COME TO AN END!
This year’s season has come to an end, and Aljaž’s Hut will be closing its doors on Sunday, 11 October 2026. See you in May 2027!
WET DRILL EXERCISE IN THE VRATA VALLEY
Together with the local volunteer fire brigades, we organised a wet drill exercise at Šlajmerjev dom in the Vrata Valley.

The mountain trail to Jerebikovec from the Tnal side is currently closed. Please take note of this because the trail is dangerous.

THE MOUNTAIN PATH BELCA - KEPA IS CLOSED
In 2026, the rehabilitation of the landslide-prone area below the Barakarjev rovt forest road is planned, while in autumn works will be carried out on the rockfall area above the village of Belca. In addition to the extensive rehabilitation works, sanitary logging in the forest will also take place during this period.
We kindly remind you that the Belca – Jepca forest road is closed by the decision of the forest service.
